What would you like to see change in Arts & Humanities? Is there something that could make your academic experience better? Ever catch yourself wishing you could share your thoughts or frustrations and make a real difference?
Come along to the Arts & Humanities Faculty Q&A, to share your thoughts and help shape the future of our Faculty. I’ll be there as your SU Faculty President, along with Janet Stewart, the A&H Executive Dean. We’ll be ready to listen, chat, and take your feedback on board—over coffee, of course!
We’d love to hear what means the most to you, and is a great opportunity if you have feedback or questions around a range of topics, such as:
• Assessment and feedback: turnaround time and quality of feedback. Is it constructive, and does it help you develop your work?
• Employability and opportunities, i.e., internships, research projects, and placements.
• Feedback on module content and teaching.
• Transparency on decisions and changes being made.
• Resources: This can include accessibility to teaching spaces, online materials, books in the library, study spaces, etc.
We've been working with the University to consult with students and develop Voice Matters information and feedback opportunities in Faculties, including these sessions. This is your chance to shape your academic journey, so don’t miss out. Drop by, share your thoughts, and let’s make your voice count!
Hope to see you there, Madeleine Grogan
