Business Faculty: Drinks and Diplomacy…

Join us in Dunelm House for a semi-formal, interactive session focused on how beverage customs (like drinking tea or alcohol in social settings) vary across cultures and how these customs impact business relationships and etiquette. A ritual as simple as sharing a drink can seal deals or build trust, but missteps (like offering the wrong beverage or mis-reading the custom) can easily cause offense. Understanding these nuances is a valuable skill for any globally-minded business student.

This event will have a mix of content and discussion: a short presentation with fascinating examples from different cultures, two guest speakers sharing personal insights, and an open group discussion/Q&A.
