Welcome Fair Day One: Sports, Activities & Interests Fair…

It’s here! We’re excited to announce this year’s Welcome Fair spread across two action-packed days 🎉

(If you’re a little confused, don’t worry, yes – this is our annual Freshers’ Fair with a new name, the same amazing opportunities, and an even warmer welcome. Open to everyone, not just Freshers!)

Whether you’re joining Durham for the first time or returning for another year, this is your big welcome – or welcome back. Think of it as your gateway to endless ways to make the most of your Durham experience.

Day one is all about the Sports, Activities and Interests Fair. 

From rowing to rock climbing, swing dancing to netball – whether you’re a pro or just curious, come and find your sport on day one! But that’s not all – all your favourite interest groups will be there too. Think Anime, Taylor Swift Society, Hot Chocolate Society… whatever you’re into (or want to try), you’re bound to find a group you click with!

Don’t forget to check out the commercial stalls for student deals, discounts, and… yes, freebies.

🎟️ You’ll need a separate ticket for each day of the Fair – so after you’ve grabbed your day one ticket below, make sure to head over and grab that free ticket for day two, the Clubs & Societies Fair!

Accessibility hour: 13:00–14:00 is reserved for those with accessibility needs – please only book during this time if it applies to you.
